LA Community Health Project:
LACHP works to improve the health and well-being of people affected by drug use in Los Angeles, increasing their access to health care, empowering people to protect themselves, and educating to reduce harm in our communities.
Key activities include overdose prevention & naloxone training, assistance in linking individuals to primary health services, hepatitis C testing, outreach and support. PHFE is the fiscal sponsor for LA Community Health Project. For more information go to www.chpla.org.
San Francisco Department of Public Health:
PHFE partners with researchers at the San Francisco Department of Public Health who study many critical aspects of the opioid crisis, including evaluating trends in local opioid overdose death rates and analyzing the impact of public health interventions such as naloxone provision and changes in prescriber practices.
